Spain: Day Two
Today we went to a Flamenco dance, a cultural Spanish dance that involves clicking clam shell-like things together to make a beat to dance to. It also has fast feet movement and tapping your shoes rapidly across the ground. It was one hour long. The dance is different every time you come. Because the dancers get to pick what they dance, whatever they feel like doing that day! So, that’s about all we did today. But we did also go to a little bakery before we left, that had small almond cookies with a caramelized nut in the center. make sure to check out more of my posts, and check…

Spain: Day One
Today we landed in Seville, Spain. We got off the airplane and took a taxi to a restaurant that serves brunch food. I got a ham and cheese croissant, it was so good. And for dessert, we ate Mini churros served with hot chocolate. They were very delicious and tasty. And the hot chocolate was warm and sweet and was flavored like hazelnut. Then, after the restaurant, we walked over to an area that sells outdoor escape room experiences. The experience gives you an iPad, which you use to find your way around the town. You have to go to specific locations on the map to get to a riddle.…

The Black Knight: Chapter 1
On one particular night in January, a young man walked out of his house. Putt. Putt. Putt. Went his feet across the cobblestone path that surrounded his home. The man’s name was not one you would really hear regularly. So, he preferred keep it a secret. But to his little town, he was known as the black knight. This man walked to the back of his house, where his horse, nightfrost, was waiting. He mounted his horse, putting his feet into the stirrups. Then, he and his horse sped away into the crisp night. at 7:30 am, Jackson woke up from his bed. He heard the sound of birds flying…

Paris: Day Six
Today we did not do very much, or at least not as much as the past days. But, we go to a very nice bakery called, Maison marquise. They had so many different kinds of baked goods to choose from! I picked a nice little pistachio tart, that was filled with pistachio cream. It was very good and tasted like Dubai style chocolate. I really enjoyed this little piece of happiness. I also got a pistachio macaron filled with raspberry’s and pistachio cream. I did not try this macaron yet, but I will definitely try it tomorrow! The line for this bakery was out the door, it was about an…

Paris: Day Five
Today we went to the Pere lachaise, it is a graveyard in Paris, they have many different kinds of graves there. We tried to find the oldest grave, it was one that belonged to someone who died in 1759, meaning he probably lived in the 1600s! The graveyard had many graves and it was a very big cemetery. After the we went to the cemetery, we went to a bakery/cafe called, Union boulangerie, they had so many great treats, I tried a key kime pie tart, and a great sandwich with ham, cheese, mustard, butter, and pickles on it. The bread was a bit hard at first, but it was…

Paris: Day Four
~Day four~ Today we didn’t do much. Not as much as the past several days. Today, we went to see the tour de Eiffel, or the Eiffel Tower as many people call it. The Eiffel Tower lights up at night. And at exactly 7:00/19:00, it flickers with light, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The sky is dark and goes perfectly with the glow of the tall tower and buildings in the background. The fresh air makes this beautiful atmosphere even more vibrant and inviting. It was sure a special moment in the evening. The weather was a crisp 36 degrees today, though the real feel was about 20 something. It was…
