    Paris: Day Six

Today we did not do very much, or at least not as much as the past days. But, we go to a very nice bakery called, Maison marquise. They had so many different kinds of baked goods to choose from! I picked a nice little pistachio tart, that was filled with pistachio cream. It was very good and tasted like Dubai style chocolate. I really enjoyed this little piece of happiness. I also got a pistachio macaron filled with raspberry’s and pistachio cream. I did not try this macaron yet, but I will definitely try it tomorrow! The line for this bakery was out the door, it was about an…

    Paris: Day Five

Today we went to the Pere lachaise, it is a graveyard in Paris, they have many different kinds of graves there. We tried to find the oldest grave, it was one that belonged to someone who died in 1759, meaning he probably lived in the 1600s! The graveyard had many graves and it was a very big cemetery. After the we went to the cemetery, we went to a bakery/cafe called, Union boulangerie, they had so many great treats, I tried a  key kime pie tart, and a great sandwich with ham, cheese, mustard, butter, and pickles on it. The bread was a bit hard at first, but it was…

    Paris: Day Four

~Day four~ Today we didn’t do much. Not as much as the past several days. Today, we went to see the tour de Eiffel, or the Eiffel Tower as many people call it. The Eiffel Tower lights up at night. And at exactly 7:00/19:00, it flickers with light, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The sky is dark and goes perfectly with the glow of the tall tower and buildings in the background. The fresh air makes this beautiful atmosphere even more vibrant and inviting. It was sure a special moment in the evening. The weather was a crisp 36 degrees today, though the real feel was about 20 something. It was…

    Paris: Day Three

~Day three~ Today we went to the musee de orsay, I think it was called. We saw many works of art. There’s a really cool art work, it is a  3D model of a seaside town. This photo of it was taken up close. It looks like you’re in the town! There was many, many more arts in the museum. I captured a few of them to show you today. There is a painting of ice berg floating on the sea. It looks great when the sky is dark and the ice blends with the ocean.  Now this painting is a picture of a vase with plants, next to oranges…

    Paris: Day Two

We went to a bakery called Angelina’s on the way to the louvre, the most famous museum in the world! They had yummy desserts and pastry’s! There were too many to choose from! Each dessert was around 10€ when we went. That’s around 12$ USD. These are some of the most beautiful, and tasty pastry’s I’ve ever tried. Here were my personal favorites: Caramel Mont Blanc: they are famous for Mont Blanc here. A delicious meringue is topped with dollop of cream. The cream is covered in a chocolate like noodle. The caramel version has caramel on the very bottom. It was so good. I would recommend it. It was…
