Portugal: Sao Miguel: Day Three
Today for breakfast I had eggs produced freshly from our chickens in the back yard with toast. Also had locally made yogurt and muesli which is kind of like granola, you can put it in yogurt or in a bowl of milk and eat it like cereal. Then we went to a tea plantation and we learned about how tea was made and how the top of the leaves are more bitter and the lower leaves taste more lighter. Then after the presentation we went into the tea room, where we tried their fresh locally made tea. After that we went to get some food, we decided to go to a little food truck that had great smash burgers. Smash burgers are burgers with layers of cheese and they are smashed down. They were the best burgers I ever tasted in my whole life! That says a lot because I’m 14 and I’ve had a lot of burgers in my day. While I was playing waiting for the food, we were running around and my sister closed a fence door on me as I was running through it. BOOM 💥 battle scars.
